Snow and Ice Recovery in Carmel, Indiana

Black ice on a Hamilton County back road does not care how carefully you were driving. When the car ends up in a drift or a ditch, we come and get it out.

The Worst Nights Are the Ones We Plan For

An Indiana ice storm produces more calls in six hours than a normal week does. Everyone slides at roughly the same time, the roads that let us reach you are the same roads that put you there, and every towing outfit in the county is suddenly four hours behind.
We stage extra equipment when the forecast turns and we keep dispatch honest about timings rather than promising thirty minutes we cannot deliver on sheet ice. If there is a wait, you will be told the real number and you can decide what to do with it.

Staged for the forecast

When a storm is coming we put more trucks and more crew on, because waiting until the calls start is already too late.

Dug before pulled

Packed snow around the sills has to come away first. Winching a car through a frozen bank is how bodywork gets ripped.

Honest waits

On a bad night we will tell you the true estimate rather than a comfortable one, so you can judge whether to stay put.

While You Wait in the Cold

Three things worth knowing before the truck gets to you.
01

Stay in the car

It is warmer and far more visible than you are standing beside it. Keep the hazards on and the seatbelt fastened.
02

Check the exhaust

If you are running the engine for heat and the tailpipe is buried in snow, exhaust can come back into the cabin. Clear it if you safely can.
03

Stop rocking it

Spinning the wheels polishes the ice underneath and cooks the gearbox. Our winch will move it without either problem.

We Work the Nights Everyone Else Sits Out

Snow, ice, freezing rain or all three at once. Call it in, stay warm, and let the crew come to you with a rate already set.
